Not Church As Usual
Joshua's Crossing started with an idea: we dreamed of a church where people had the freedom to be real. That idea developed into an identity we still hold to today: Not Church As Usual.
At JC, there are no pretenses. We’re not a church full of perfect people—and we’re not pretending to be perfect either. We come from all walks of life, and everyone is welcome just as they are! We genuinely love every person who walks through our doors. You don’t have to “be somebody” to belong here. You’re accepted, exactly as you are.
At the same time, we need the truth found in Jesus. He is the founder and perfecter of our faith, and He calls each of us to follow Him and become more like Him. We fall short in countless ways, but we lean on His grace and keep moving forward—becoming who God created us to be.
So if you’re looking for a “normal” church… this probably isn’t it. We’re a community of real people, living authentically and doing our best to follow Jesus. If that sounds like what you’ve been looking for, we’d love to see you this Sunday!
Our 3 Pillars
From the beginning, our church has been built on these three pillars. Everything we say, do, and live reflects them and the Savior who modeled them for us first.
Love
We unconditionally love every single person that walks through our doors.
Acceptance
We accept everyone as they are, no matter where they are in life.
Truth
Our foundation is and always will be the truth that is found in the Word of God.
